»Assunta Alegiani untersucht schließlich in ihrem Beitrag „Begehrende Körper: Intimität und Sexualität in Darstellungen von Dis/ability im Comic“ Repräsentationen diverser Körperbilder, Sexualpraktiken und Beziehungsmuster in den Comics Building Stories (2012) von Chris Ware, Der Umfall (2020) von Mikael Ross und Trubel mit Ted (2020) von Émilie Gleason. Alegiani fragt nach der Verschränkung von Sexualität, Begehren, Intimität und Behinderung und danach, welche Rolle Bilder im Herstellen und Aufrechterhalten von Sichtbarkeit und Unsichtbarkeit spielen.«
